![]() ![]() Ava Jade, Rook, Grey, and Corvus are all reeling from everything that has been brought to light, but their feelings almost have to be placed on the back burner to everything else happening around them. I totally respect that.Īfter the shocking end in book two we pick right back up with broken trust and twisted emotions. She knows she’s just as deadly as the men around her and she doesn’t want or expect to be treated any differently. She doesn’t use her looks or her body or even worry about covering up if necessary. She never once cowed down to any man, especially not the Crows. In this day and age where women still apologize too much for basically being women and in a society that still puts gender norms on women (hello…women’s soccer just won a large settlement and the fact it even had to go that far is shameful in the year of 2022, but this book isn’t about that…) I loved the fact that Ava Jade stepped out of those roles. In this book Ava Jade’s darkness really shines through. ![]() ![]() I’m constantly shocked when I’m turning the last page and Elena has left me wanting more. This is the third book in this high intensity series and the action never quits and I never found my mind wandering or wishing for the end. I was jumping out of my skin from the very first chapter.
